Welcome to the home of the Apostles of the Chalice: A Light-Aligned, Medium-RP Guild focused out of the Moon Guard (US) server. “By my heart, I pledge myself unto that which has only ever created-- a divinity that bears the name of the Light. By my hands, I pledge myself unto doing that which binds people together -- a service that goes without merit. By my mind, I pledge myself to unto the education that humbles both myself and my community -- a lesson that goes with compassion. By my spirit, I pledge myself unto the service of the Apostles, but more so, the service of myself, my people, my king and my countrymen-- no matter where they reside.” The Apostles of the Chalice has been a community-friendly outreach program since its founding in 2005 on the Argent Dawn Server. With over 70 members willing to give part of themselves to not only their roleplay community, but also to the players outside of their characters, we were awarded with the Roleplayer’s Choice Award, and Community Service Award in 2006. In 2008, due to the decline in roleplay found on Argent Dawn and the changing of the winds, it was decided to head to Moon Guard. However, many of our members decided to go to Wyrmrest Accord to begin something anew. Since then, we have remained underground in many other forms, but now is the best time to bring us back into the spotlight and try to help our community grow in such tumultuous times. Some of the programs that the Apostles offers are such: * Care Packages for New Adventurers * Gem-Trading Sessions / Trading Sessions * Clothiers (for both gear and roleplay casual wear) * Exploration Adventures * Cleaning up the Park Project * Charity Benefits / Balls For Non-RP programs: * Rent-An-Apostle * Raiding Teams (For Raiding Gear) * Dungeon-Running Teams (for Tier Gear) * Battleground Teams (for PvP gear) * Leveling Teams (for those who need help in leveling) For those who want more hardcore roleplay, we do not discourage people to come to us with respectable storylines in which out guild would fall. We expect everyone to participate in some manner. There are some ‘required’ add-ons you must get, and then there are some left for your consideration. WE ARE NOT A MILITARY GUILD. If you are looking for a military-esque guild, there are plenty out there. We are simply a guild that wishes to roleplay itself as an outreach program for the community offering beds, shelter, clothes, food, education and training for future opportunities. Many of our ‘students’ go on to be top raiders.
